____ ( Insert word of choice here ).
I just can’t win with tires on the new van. Got brand new tires in what October?
3 days after getting them I picked up a chunk of metal in one of the rears helping my grandparents move. Got that fixed.
Last Friday I stopped to wash it. Made it about 2 miles from the wash, “low tire”. Pull over and check, opposite rear is very low. Get it aired up so I can get it in to get fixed. Made it to the dealer with 12 psi remaining.
Now this morning I get in to go to work, 1/2 mile from home “low tire”. I said f$#@ you and took it back home. Checked tires, passenger front is low.
I left it at home and took my van instead.
Never in my life have I had so many tire issues. Of course, I passed on the Road Hazard warranty on them, because I don’t generally have issues ( I think I’ve had to patch 1 tire in over 2 decades of driving).
Just needed to vent a bit.

*pats back*
Let it all out buddy. Man that’s a lot of tire issues though and somehow all on different tires. One trouble tire that just won’t patch right I understand, but this...did you forget to make an offering to the tire gods?

Can sympathize. Had the left rear tire on my Ranger replaced some months ago (road hazard warranty) thanks to a screw right where the sidewalk and tread met. Within another month the new tire had three punctures. At least those were repairable.

Well, there’s only one tire left without a patch......

That must be what the $84 .99 tire protection is...........

My mom had a nail in one tire.
Spontaneous $800 later, she had four new tires. She’d had those other tires since her car was new, but still not a good story.

Do you have an enemy somewhere with a voodoo tire?

I had a similar string of luck after getting my Volt. In 20+ years of driving I had only had one flat tire.
Within a month of getting the Volt I had to patch three tires and a couple months later had to get all new tires after one had sidewall damage.
Needless to say I got the road hazard coverage on the new set. Also needless to say it’s now 2.5 years later and I haven’t needed it once.

Yeah, when we offer Road Hazard Protection, we try to offer as much as possible to go with it. Seasonal tire changeovers , rebalancing, TPMS relearns (I’m looking at you, GM ) , all free for the life of the tires with “Maintenance +” as we call it, so long as those are the tires currently on the vehicle. (No buying Maint+ on your all-seasons and taking advantage of it when your winter tires are currently on the car unless they have Maint+ too.) That and we’ll pro-rate all 4 tires on an AWD if one is damaged beyond repair. We want to make sure you actually have the opportunity to use something when you buy it. Service is covered at all of our locations, too, so no matter where you are in New England at the time you need it , you’re covered by your nearest store.
